Retirement Gift

What would be a gift for a 50 years old lady who spent 30 years of service :p?
Please suggest. Thanks

Re: Retirement Gift

Depends on her interest.. I know in my office all 50+ladies are keen on bracelet beads.. since these beads are usually pricey, they collect one at a time and just recently I got one for someone who retired and she loved it.. costs between $30-$50 and in fact some women have favorite stores for such beads.. at least at my work

Just to give you an idea.. they usually look something like this:

Dancing Frog Jewelry

Thanks again GTG. I will check it out :)

Re: Retirement Gift

I think a nice Montblanc or any other fine fountain pen would serve as a nice gift and may even tempt her into recording her life and experiences.

thanks azkar.

Re: Retirement Gift

When my dad retired, he was gifted with a MontBlanc pen. I would go with that. My dad still uses it and it is just a nice keepsake to have, which will definitely get used.
