Hello Everybody:
In my opinion a resume should not be long then one page, Resume has a very clear single purpose that is to get you an interview. You only had to give just basic important points about yourself in concise way you can left to detail to the interview.
Looking at the number of resumes that are recieved by the employers no one has the time to read 4,3,2 pages they just give it a quick look, and a single page concise resume also represents your communication ability to shrink down details.
One had to remember that, they are getting information through to tired mind bored by looking regularly to alot of resumes.
As someone mentioned - 1-2 page resumes only applicable to entry level /associate level positions. If you are applying to senior management positions - you can do 3-4 pages.
It important to list out the RELEVENT work experience and if that requires 3-4 pages - so be it.
I would hire people that have ample experiences in the type of skills that I require for the job posted and if that is depicted in the resume - the better it is.
