^ On the CJ issue, I don't see any desire on the part of PPP to bring back Ifti Ch. Why? Dude is a maverick. He is as good as gone (he is gone). PML-N will form the govt in Punjab (likely), and may or may not align with PPP. My suspicion is that at some point, PML-N and PML-Q will merge together. That is a situation custom built for power politics.
I agree that PML and PPP alliance will severely dilute ideological differences between left and right. I doubt it will happen in any meaningful way, anyway.
