Rose-colored democrats will see the results and think that PPP and PML-N should join forces and make a joint government, form radically different policies and try to oust Mush. I suspect that at the end of the day, neither PPP nor PML-N will get a simple majority, PPP will come up as the party with the most number of seats in the NA, and hence they will need to make a coalition government with other parties. This is a dream scenario for our intelligence agencies, where they'd love to play their dirty politics; and if they play their cards correctly, they may end up with convincing PPP to ditch PML-N, and to join forces with MQM, independents, may be even PML-Q. This will keep PML-N out of power and into opposition forces. This will allow Mushy to stay on, may be with some diluted powers, but definitely still in place, and the pro-America policies will continue.
