He's not a magician. He was sacked illegally by the then dictator, and it was owed to him that he be restored.
There are many people in Pakistan who are thankful to him, from what i heard in a news segment he had heard over 9000 cases of ordinary citizens who were victims to the injustice of police and other authorities. The steel mill issue, missing person case, etc.
So, the restoration is not a favor bestowed upon him by the Govt., it is rather a reversal of an illegal step, which is a good thing and has been welcomed by the public and other segments of the society. How he conducts himself is yet to be seen...
To be fair, we don't even know the depth of the terms on which he is restored/reinstated, so there is much left to speculation and more light will be shed on it in the coming days i guess.
