Yes Zabiha.com is the strongest source to find out which restaurants are halal .. they give the details as well about which ones have a clear sign on , which ones are unconfirmed halal etc

My brother in law and his family lives in San Antonio, we went there and had dine out from some of the restaurants and food was good. I did not like very much. I dont like restaurants in western countries much may be lived long in Pakistan and such food is available usually no where although I liked Bilal Restaurant in LA while we were in transit
We had been to Naara cafe, Jerusalem Grill and had Shawarma probably from Mustafa Restaurant. According to my brother in law Pasha Mediterranean grill and some mediterranean turkish grill (if i remember correctly) were very noce restaurants but as we were there for only 12 days and that also my hubby had exam so we only had 3-4 days free, so we could not have dine out everywhere. San Antonio though would have less restaurants than Huston.

^ dude you wont find better Pakistani food anywhere but in Pakistan but there are some seriously good places in USA/Canada/UK and in other countries.
Its just like you will find steak at many places in Pakistan but it wont be as good as Ruth Chris or other steak places in USA.
