can someone confirm if Hero Burgers are actually halal?
someone asked the guy for a certificate and he failed to produce one.....

thanks....I feel better now...
but why is the guy not able to produce a copy of this certification at the store? and having said that.....this is really only a web page stating that Angus Beef is halal.....doesn't say that Hero purchases from them.....is this the actual certificate?

I just checked out www.isnahalal.ca for confirmation that 'heritage angus' beef is indeed halal but there's no mention of them on the website. I tried to call ISNA but couldn't get through to anyone so as last resort an email to [email protected] has been sent.

I'll update here once I receive an answer.

Did you know that all New Zealand Lamb is also Halal! Next time you're in the supermarket, pick up a packet of New Zealand lamb and it'll have a halal logo on it.
