So like, i was actually going through my family photo albums the other day & i came across this certian photograph. I think it would be obvious to you guys that this extreeemely old picture is of my sibs & I.
Anyways, pardon me for my brothers’ goofinesses in there & yes, I’m the little, scrawny, dark one in blue
(do we look like the normal looking Pakistani kids or what..).
It’s apparent that we’re standing infront of Qaid-e-Azam’s Mazaar in Karachi.
Anyhows, when i came across this photograph the other day, i noticed how the 4 of us are like standing side-by-side & holding onto each other’s hands (maybe we were forced to hold each other hands by our dad who was taking the picture. who knows!?). Anyways, it basically really touched me to see that we’re holding each other’s hands; as if we’re saying:
Stick together, & be proud of family itself.
I also notice that the fact a well-known Karachi landmark is in the background of the photo, it says:
& always remember the homeland → even if the homeland is in the back of your mind.
& frankly speaking, Karachi was, is, & will always be my place, even though i’ve never lived there, but i’ve always cherished the memories of my childhood visits there…
If I made the decisions, i would have ended the competition and declared u the winner.
Its not the picture, but what the way u describe it..and this atleast to me is more than a staged picture any professional photojournalist can do…the reality of it
hmmm...nice pic kohal. Your bro stood next to you... loks like ma put too much starch in his shirt and pants. either that or she forgot to take the coat-hanger out.
BBG, guess whott…!? # 4 is also my fav # – & it’s mainly due..well..you can make a lucky guess why it is..
& with you asking if we talk about our past/childhood to maybe bother each other???
All the time!!
Like it’s a good reminder in the way. YOu know?
