The Player, do u think there is (any) similarities between hinduism and Islam about respect of woman?

Yes, I think there are some similarities eg. protecting women, honour etc.

The big differences are around how one intereprets respect. There was an interesting reason given in an earlier post about how allowing 4 wives for a man or a woman needing 4 witnesses to prove *zina *is out or respect for them. Hindu philosophy and Islamic beliefs would view that very differently.
