However, I am quite sure that Qur'an can only be read and recited in state of purity and tahaarah. If a woman is in a state of impurity, for educational purposes, a Qur'an that is mostly in Arabic must be held by a cloth, not the dupatta she is wearing, and only recited a few words at a time, not in continuous qirat. It is advisable not to recite any part of the Qur'an during state of impurity. This is from Hanafi fiqh, as far as I know. Allah know best, and forgive me if this information is incorrect.
