That's another thread....I'll leave it at that for now.
"If Jesus (A.S.) was God, then why did he worship God?" :)

Re: Respect for Prophets
What's up with few muslims and them challenging left, right and center ? you are the third person in the last couple of days I have come across with who want to challenge everyone or prove some point to ppl. How hard is it understand the term "relative".......for you everything might be in order or locks in place, Is it neccesary that it has to lock in place for everybody else ? So stop challeging ppl with Quran according to your rules........IF you play with other ppl's rules, you may not be able to justify everything in Quran ?
Prove it!
Like Quran says, ask them to write one like of Quran, or even a chapter.
The very fact that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was illiterate, he was not a reciter, not a poet, nor a writer, and the Holy Quran was revealed to him is living proof in itself. Its revelations spanned over 23 years, yet everything locks in place, not a verse is out of order. (Humans would make errors) Not only has it been preserved, discoveries of modern science are in agreement with a book that was written over 1400 years ago. Coincidence? I think NOT!
Jews and Christians too were given Holy books, but they reinvented them, themselves. Making changes to them to "suit" modern times, thereby changing and corrupting the divine word. Quran came to remind them of what they did. Quran makes clear mention of all the nations before, including the status of some of the most prominent figures in religious history. Bani Israeel, Moses (a.s.), Children of Isreal, birth of Jesus (a.s.), Zacharia (r.a.) and his plea for a child, Mary's struggle amongst the Jews of the time who were hell-bent on punishing Jesus (a.s.), but they were too naive to realize that HE WAS the mesiah, they were long waiting for. While some accepted, most rejected.
And then they question Quran? The FINAL testament? Pleaseee....

How would you know? Didn't you just say in the other thread you're sick of muslims referring to Quran for everything?
Dictating to others how they should follow their faith, are we? I said what i said...dont' get all worked up. Chill.

Because he represented God in human form. But that is another thread.
Suffice to say for this thread, Jews and Christians believe the Quran to be a fabrication and Muhammad a false prophet. Hence, a lack of disrepect.
But let's face it, the secular Christian world has no problem disrespecting figures from their own scriptures.

** But let's face it, the secular Christian world has no problem disrespecting figures from their own scriptures.**
I agree. Sadly.
Re: Respect for Prophets
Not at all. Jews and Christians feel you have re-written their books, borrowed their prophets and insulted their religion by calling it lies. Then you love your one prophet more than all others plus humanity combined. You don't think that rubs them the wrong way?
no, you are wrong yet again. How did we borrow their Prophets when we believe that Allah Ta'ala sent many Prophets (Peace be upon them) to convey His true deen? Even if we were to assume that we borrowed from Jews and Christians, could you please show us some verses from the Qur'an which tells us the Prophet Lot committed incest with his daughters, Prophet David committed adultery and Prophet Solmon worshiped idols because this is what your bible tells us about them? Your bible also tells us that God, the Lord not Jesus (Peace be upon him) can make mistakes and then He repents (apologizes). How come we do not find such bogus errors in the Qur'an? Prophet (Peace be upon him) must have been genius and a scholar, who was able to differentiate between correct and bogus stories. However, he was illiterate so your arguments goes down to the toilet. btw this is a well known logical fallacy!

The logical fallacy is that you believe the Quran to be right and the Bible to be wrong because of your faith in Islam - not because it is the factual version. To them the Quran was pulled from Jewish/Christian texts and changed. Whatever is different in the Quran is the bogus version.
Re: Respect for Prophets
^ thats one way of looking at it , alternatively what is in the bible and contrary to Quran was later fabricated by their followers ....from a neutral standpoint how can u disapprove that ...esp. since bible cannot claim to be totally the same as it was in the first century ...many early chriatian works are not even considered part of the bible
Re: Respect for Prophets
I'm not taking either position. I'm just pointing out that there are different possibilities and no one has the proof.

off topic but islam and modern science are poles apart.
Re: Respect for Prophets
lol in between peoples’ arguments, ‘modern sciences’, and trying to prove things in the quran, the main point of this topic is just lost. it just seems to be a continuation of the argument from the henna thread since that one got locked.. ![]()
