Research Question????????????????

One thing I have found out is that it is part of Qaadiyani/Ahmedi faith that Hadrhat Isa:as: (Jesus) died at about the age near to 125.

I was further researching on the issue as it is quite opposite to what I have learnt as part of my faith and found out some other facts. Since, I do not have the real sources (the books) available at the moment, I wanted to confirm if any one has them.

I am confused to find the exact thing. So where did Mirza Ghulam sahib claim Jesus is burried? :

Gulailee (in Roohani Khazain vol.3 p.353-354)
Syria (in Roohani Khazain vol.8 p.296-297)
Al-Quds (in Roohani Khazain vol.8 p.299)
Kashmire (in Roohani Khazain vol 18 p. 320)

To make the matter more confusing, I found all these places mentioned in the same book.

Re: Research Question????????????????

^^
He himself was confused; and made you confuse. Dont listen him at all.

Re: Research Question????????????????

this is off topic but i was wondering if anyone know the population of qadiyanis?

Re: Research Question????????????????

The first three places of burial were actually thought by the locals to be the burial place of Jesus (as). Promised Messiah (as) mentioned them in his arguments addressed to christians. That even such and such people believe Jesus to have died and they claim that he is buried in such and such place. Whereas he claimed conclusively that Jesus (as) was actually buried in Kashmir after research.

Ibn e Kathir narrates an incident where Abu Huraira (ra) was shown a grave on a hill near Medina by some christians. They claimed it to be that of Jesus (as).

Re: Research Question????????????????

Destino: can you please point out the references from Roohaani Khazaain where it is explicitly written that way.

Much Appreciated.

Re: Research Question???

Your first reference is from Ruhani Khazain Vol 3, page 353, 354. It was written in response to a Christian cleric.

The statement of 353-354 reads and its my rough translation.

“This is true that Messiah passed away in his native land Gallilee. But this is not true that the same body which was buried became alive again. Infact the third verse of the same chapter is saying that after his death, Messiah was visible to his disciple in their sate of vision (kashf). No one should take is as if Messiah died as a result of crucifixion. As we have proven before that God saved Messiah from the cross. But this third verse from the first chapter in Acts is giving evidence to the natural death of Messiah which occured at Gallilee. After his death, Messiah was seen by his disciples in the state of vision.”

The above is a writing in 1880s. It is addressed to the Padris and it suggests that Jesus (as) had died. Promised Messiah (as) came to know of the grave in Kashmir later and it was the research that he had conducted which bore fruit much later.

The second and third references are part of the same statement. Syria (in Roohani Khazain vol.8 p.296-297) and Al-Quds (in Roohani Khazain vol.8 p.299).
Actually, Promised Messiah (as) quoted a letter from one of his followers in Syria, Muhammad al- Saeedi Tablusi Shami.

Page 296 reads “and it is a thing to wonder about, that there is a grave of Jesus in the Syrian country (Bilaade Shaam) and for more clarification we publish the testimony of my brother in the love of Allah, Sayyed Maulvi Muhammad Saeed al-Tirablusi in the footnote. He is a resident of Tirablus in Syrian country.”

Palestine is also referred as Palestinian syria by historians, hence it is called bilad e shaam.

The letter in arabic is printed in the footnotes which is an account of what the Syrian Maulvi sahib observed. Translation follows in urdu and on page 299 it is written

“You have asked about the grave of Jesus (as) and other conditions. So i am writing a detailed account which is that Jesus (as) was born in bethlehem. The distance between Bethlehem and the city of Quds is three kaus. And the grave of Jesus (as) is in the city of Quds and is present to date. There is a Church built upon that grave, which is biggest of all the churches, and it has the grave of Jesus (as) inside it. The grave of Mary (as) is also in the same church and both the graves are seperate.”

Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believes that both Jesus and Mary were buried in Jerusalem. Again Promised Messiah (as) challenged the Maulvi addressed here to prove that the grave was not of Jesus (as). He never conclusively said that it WAS the grave. But the above shows that Promised Messiah (as) was still doing his research. He also quoted Imam Malik that he believed Jesus (as) had died.

The last reference is in Arabic and i can’t translate it with any clarity.

The fact that Jesus (as) is actually buried in Kashmir was mentioned by Promised Messiah (as) in Ruhani Khazain Vol 13, Kitabul Barriyah, page 20. It states

“and as it is shown after RESEARCH that he died in Kashmir and his grave is still present in Kashmir by the name of Nabi Shahzada”.

Than Promised Messiah (as) explains the events after Jesus was put in sepulchre and was treated for forty days by his companions. (page 21)

Finally, after all the research was concluded, Promised Messiah (as) wrote his book Jesus in India in 1899. http://www.alislam.org/books/jesus-in-india/index.html

The allegation raised by the mullahs is that there is so much contradiction in the places of burial so Mirza Sahib must be wrong. A closer look at the writings reveal that the allegations are based on the ill-intended motives of the mullahs as the real issue was DEATH OF JESUS on which Promised Messiah (as) claimed that God had told him that Jesus had passed away. What follows regarding the burial place was a result of research and this research was successfully finalized in the last mentioned book.

Re: Research Question???

Destino: I am amazed that a person, who could get a revealation as per Qadiyani beleif, had to go through a RESEARCH process. He never heard it from Allah about it. And then all the speculations. I wonder if kashmir bit is right too.

Now, I have also heard that Mirza Sahib was in favour of Isa:as: being alive for many years. Is that true too?

Re: Research Question????????????????

Jesus in India is a great source. Read it.

Its available on www.alislam.org

Re: Research Question???

Does it answer my confusion? can you provide few examples from there before I make up my mind reading it?

Re: Research Question????????????????

Yes, it will answer all your confusions regarding prophet Isa (as). Great great book. Read it. You'll be surprised on the great pearls of wisdom.

Re: Research Question???

so it will confirm that Kashmir is where Isa:as: is burried as per Qadiyani beleif that he:as: actually died. Is it based on RESEARCH as trooper was mentioning or based on revealations?

Re: Research Question????????????????

I'm confused as to what kind of research this was? Did he dig up the graves and do a DNA analysis? Probably not?

Did he rely on reports of natives around the supposed Church in Kashmir?

Furthermore, if Jesus lived to 100 some years...how old was Mary, given that she's buried right next to him...so she must have followed him from his journey out of jurusalem...?
