Chatting is new to me, but I will give it a try!
I’m a Danish student conducting a research study on social integration of Pakistani immigrants in Denmark and Norway. The Pakistani population have now lived in both countries app. the same length of time (30 years), they are nearly equal in number (but in Norway they make up the largest group of foreign nationals from 3. world countries, wheras in Denmark they constitute the 5th largest), the majority originates from the same areas in Pakistan (Punjab Province; Gujrat and Jhelum) and many shared the same social-economic background when they arrived, thus having relatives across the boarders of Denmark/Norway. Now one would think that their integration - due to the many similarities - would have been very much alike, but a study has showen, that the Pakistani children in Denmark do a lot better in school compared to the children in Norway. This is a very interesting situation and the causes must be found in the differences in the tow countries educational systems. I hope to get some comments from you on this issue and hope to get contact with Pakistanis in either Denmark (from Copenhagen) or Norway (from Oslo).
Best regards
Lulu

Dear Lulu,
could you send the same query at my email address? I can forward it to several forums for Pakistani students, may be you will get in contact with some.
