Rescheduling Pakistan's Debts - Some Questions

I am quite happy to read and hear the news that Pakistan’s foreign reserves have been increasing day by day. Please correct me if I am wrong but did our President promised that we won’t take anymore loans or did he condemn the previous government for taking loans? I also remember that before the latest war in Afghanistan, we were promised that so much of our debt will be written off as part of our partnership in the war against terror. How much of it has been written off?

Everynow and then I also read that such and such country has re-scheduled Pakistan’s Debt payments. What does it really mean? For example, i was listening to the news about Danish rescheduling our debt of 750million dollar for 38 years. Does it mean that our foreign reserves have been increased by 750 million dollars?
