Could somebody please state the different types of embroidery’s done in Pakistani like zardozi etc and past a picture of those works..?

Ummm i know threes kundan.. and dabka.. I hate dabka..its so ugly ..

dabka is very old . its not in fashion. kora is like dabka but its of dull material (not shiny) then beads work, kundan work is in fashion now a days.there are many types of hand embroidary.

there are a milliontypes of embroidereies done now
machine work with hand touching of sequins, diamonttes, stones, shells, beads, reshamand a lot of other stuff, but these days dimontees work and coinwork is very in, more info wanted email me for pics at [email protected]

kundan dabka,zari ka kam...now adys wen these all works mixed viewed they look super fantastic...n dabka is not out still in its mate form...mate dabka work is really really eye catching...yes golden shining dabka is not used now widout mixing of other things,,,hand work plus machine work all make ur dress gud outfit.

I have seen actually a couple of different types of kunda work, can somebody please post a pic to show exactly what kind is kundan!!!

mate dabk is called "kora". yaeh thats true that mixture of all workss look nice and thats in now a days.

^ Sheal you seem to know a lot about embroidery can you please tell me all the names that come to your mind because as you know i am going to Pakistan soon Inshallah and when i go there i dont want to be completely clueless and get opposite of what i want to get made from there...

teelobhain i dont remember the names of all embroideries but yes i know approx all types of work. see when u will visit all these places where that work is done u can find many types of embroideries, and u can select whatever u want. actully its been 1.5 years i went those places. i'll be going inshallah in july then i can give u the pics also.
