Request to Mods

:salam:

I have noticed, that sometimes a topic gets out of control and then end up discussing something that does not relate to that particular thread.

For example the recent Thread by Evilmastermind:
“Women please give me some idea”
http://www.paklinks.com/gs/showthread.php?t=205446

The thread could have been very informative but there we see **“some members” **due to hate/ignorance towards others who do not share the same thinking posting material that has nothing to do with the topic.

I hope that we can implement more strict control, and get rid of thread hijacking.

Re: Request to Mods

We already have the moderators for the job. Its their task (among others) to also avoid thread getting derailed of hijacked. If this is the case then the thread starter can contact the mods of the forum in case it is not already noticed by the moderator.

Re: Request to Mods

I reviewed the thread and don't really see any 'off-topic' responses. Members were asked to come up with questions looming in their minds, so the questions were put forth and obviously some of the other members tried to answer the questions.

Re: Request to Mods

They were removed by armughal. How about next time mods warn the user and then ban user if he/she still ignore:confused:

Re: Request to Mods

Moderators already review the posts to ensure that teh threads don't get derailed or rude language is edited out. If you see any post which you feel should be brought to the attention of the mods than please feel free to PM them or use the "report bad post" button.
