She is critical but stable. Last word I got is that she is still in the ICU and only her parents are allowed to see her when permitted by docs. I am still not clear what she is down with, but it looks like some blood clot blocking one of the heart valves and blood circulation consequently.

I request all of you to offer special prayers for Gul in all of your prayers until she returns to us in full health.

It's a kind and graceful gesture to ask others to pray for someone who is suffering, especially if that person is one of your own.

I would wish rapid recovery and good health to Gul even though I do not know him/her personally. We mortals must not suffer before our time comes.

But why pray to God for everything?
Is there any proof of the existence of God?
Do prayers bring results?
Any proof that prayers work and God listens to our prayers and does what we want out of Him?
Or it's just a useless thing to pray that brings no results and we all waste our time in doing so, instead of spending time in solving the problems in life and being careful we do not get into problems.

Any thoughts? Any takers?

Today I heard from NikamiJano that she is better and may be permitted to go home in a couple of days :) Details awaited.
