Apparently mohammad asif showed some over aggression to a sri lankan batsman in one of the recent ODIs and he was charged with a Level 1 offence by the match referee. I was wondering if anybody had that video clip that you could upload on youtube or something. Thanks

doesnt look that bad, but maybe thats cause of the grainy video quality.

Actually I was watching it live when it happened. And boy oh boy, I can assure you, it was completeley uncalled for. Jawaradene is a pretty cool guy. It was pretty stupid of Asif to have done that to him, out of all the people. As far as I am concerned, the punishment is completey justified.

Maybe Asif should’ve apologised to Mahela. ‘Sorry I had no right to send you packing.’ :rolleyes:] If you feel that was too much then you are in the wrong sport. Go observe Curling or something. Soft tarts!

there is a difference between being agressive and ignorant. Asif was simply ignorant. It reminded me of Aamir Sohail in the '96 QF against India.

^ For me Aamir Sohail's reaction to Prasad was fine, his shot selection which cost him his stump was the cause for concern.

That was the best moment for me in the history of cricket @ Aamir Sohail in the '96 QF against India.
