Mamaof3, you had mentioned you lived in the ct-ny border area, can you pls. tell me which masjids there are in the area? the closest one to us is in stamford, it is extremely small and in a very distasteful location, we are looking to go to some better mosque if any, where more women come to pray. pls let me know, thanks.

hello, the closest one I know of is on 95th street in Manhattan, its a bit far but its very large, will have many people for you to meet and I'm sure, many activities for your little one. Actually, as long as you avoid rush hour, it really isnt that far to travel esp. if you take the Henry Hudson parkway...that route really isnt bad even during the rush hours.

THe Islamic center at 96th street and 3rd avenue on the upper east side of manhattan. Supposedly it's the largest mosque in NYC. I'm not quite sure about it but that's the one that Mama's talkin about..

hmm do you guys think a nice site with all the masjid's in North America (possible even world) shall be made so that ppl can get benefits.. the should also include driving directions to those masjids?
