Some members were complaining that their stars were gone, or the green bars were shorter.
I will exlplain it now why.
New members reputation power starts at = 10 points
Members are not allowed to give** negative rep anymore**
Only Admins/mods can still give negative rep. to members (this is something like a mild warning) If in some cases mods dont really want to issue a warning, they can just give negative points.
All members can now hide rep. display in postbit now (though they can still receive rep. from other members)
**This is **how the points are given, increased or decreased:
Minimum Post Count = 50 This is the numbers of posts a member must have before his/her reputation hits count on others.
Daily Reputation Clicks Limit = 10
*This is the number of reputation clicks any members can give over each 24 hour period * Administrators are exempt from this limit.
Reputation User Spread = 50 The number of different users you must give reputation to before you can hit the same person again. Administrators are exempt from this limit.
Extended Reputation Dark Green Count = 5 The maximum number of dark green pips to display before moving onto the next level.
Extended Reputation Dark Green Value = 300 (was previously 150) The value of each dark green pip in the extended reputation display.
Extended Reputation Light Green Count = 5 The maximum number of light green pips to display before moving onto the next level.
Extended Reputation Light Green Value = 500 (was previously 300) The value of each light green pip in the extended reputation display.
**Extended Reputation Golden Count = 10 ** The maximum number of golden pips to display before moving onto the next level.
Extended Reputation Gold Value = 1000 (was previously 800, due to which some ppl’s starts were gone!) The value of each golden pip in the extended reputation display.
Ok im a little confused, my rep power was 409, then it went to 411 now its at 412… why is it going at little increments even though no one gave me rep?

this implies you posted around 30 posts for your points to increase from 411 to 413
Wow. This is a whole lot of work you guys did. But why? I don't get the validity of such a system. It becomes a popularity contest. As far as warning points are concerned, that's a good part of the system. But you know, if you have 80 perople rooting for you and giving you positive reputation points, then what good does a few points taken off for misbehavior really do to deter the poster?
