In case he attains the required number of delegates, there will perhaps be no ‘legitimate’ way to move Trump aside. A debate will arise only if none of the candidates has the required number of delegates at the convention. At that point, the person with the most delegates will have a moral edge, but if that person is Trump, I reckon the GOP will try hard to nominate an alternate, which will fracture the GOP even more than now. I feel that if at all it gets to the point where GOP overrides Trump’s majority delegate count, Trump will go independent, and that will fracture the GOP beyond belief, and will result in a certain win for Hillary.
