With the very hot news about his departure from the scene being almost a done deal untill last night, the PM’s clarification clarifies…
**Reports about my replacement are rumours: PM **
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said Friday that the reports regarding replacement were quite baseless, concocted and only rumours.
“ There is not an iota of truth in reports regarding replacement,” he said while talking to Geo News during a ceremony. The changes in the present government were not on cards, he said.
For the first time in the history of Pakistan the assemblies will complete the five-year term, he remarked.
Earlier, the Presidential spokesman dismissed reports as “baseless” regarding replacement of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
Re: Reports about my replacement are rumours: PM Aziz
ground realities suggest otherwise. Rumor has it that Musharraf is meeting BB in UAE today and Shehbaz in Jeddah tomorrow. So PM might just be faking it here. Remember Jamali said he wont resign and resigned the next day. So when one sits back and looks at things in hindsight, Musharraf actually precipitated his own downfall on March 9. That has become very clear. If he talking to Shehbaz though, I hope that arrangement is minus Nawaz Shareef.

he is too smart of a person to waste his time as a PM. he really needs to be a finance minister, thats where his strength is, he is not the person to deal with desi politics.
