so I am here in barbados for my vacation and other than the usual bul**** that you do when you are in carribiean partying and stuff at the beach, i am making sure to mix up with locals as well (locals in babrbados are very friendly)…also took a tour of Kinsington oval and obviously when locals find out that I am originally from pakistan, we start talking about cricket…funny thing is that they cannot name any Pakistani cricketer from the current team (i asked 8 different groups..all failed to name one), which is sort of understandable given our team is new, but the problem is that they hardly know/remember greats like akram, waqar, inzi, yoyo etc…cricket is popular here but not as much as I thought…
but one Pakistani cricketer which most of the people over here know and start yelling his name is … lol…Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi…lala jee!
most of the people know lala…lol…kaya karien..lala hai to charismatic…waleed are you happy now..at least I am reporting without any bias…
and yeah they do mention match fixing and pakistan too…lanat ha…you want to kill yourself..and fu..ck..ing kaneria got banned lifetime by ECB last nite and i saw local channels reporting that…
