Report: Women are more likely to have serious mental health problems than men

Re: Report: Women are more likely to have serious mental health problems than men

You are clearly speaking from your experience. Not all feminists are like that.

  1. I hardly played with dolls and cars. I don’t even remember having any dolls but do remember having toy cars. I rode my bike around the neighborhood and collected and traded interesting stuff. I asked questions, almost drove my mom crazy. I built forts and made fun games out of stuff I found randomly. That was my childhood. Unless barbies and cars are made my something other than humans, you can’t say playing with them comes naturally. My husband has three nieces. One of them does not like dolls. Bought her lots of dolls, she doesn’t play with them for more than a minute. She likes interesting stuff, building stuff, stuff that inspires. My own niece doesn’t like dolls. She has a drawer full of Barbies, she doesn’t play with those. She loves puzzles. She loves to read. Every kid is different. Stop teaching them to be a certain way and let them be creative little humans. They will shine that way! Don’t kill their individuality before they even what it means.

  2. Weren’t you just whining about how women care too much about their careers, home and kids? Now you have a problem when they pick one thing. In my opinion, both genders should learn to compromise. It’s not just a woman’s job to raise the kids. It took two to make them, it is going to take two to raise them. Both parents should be present. It should not become a tug of war.

  3. Yes, men and women are different but before that every individual is different. We all have our interests and goals. Who is to decide what is okay for you is not okay for me? Why should I be the one to give up on my interests and passion in life and not you? Why can’t we meet halfway? See the thing about me is I reject everything that promotes bigotry and discrimination. This includes organized religions as well.
