A man visiting the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit from California was introduced to the city’s less pleasant side recently. The Detroit News reports thieves made off with his 2001 Ford F-250 pickup truck. That would be bad enough by itself, but the truck was hooked to an enclosed trailer, which housed his classic 1930 Ford Model A at the time. As of right now, there are no leads in the investigation, and there is a $2,000 reward for information leading to vehicles’ recovery. Police say the truck is wearing California license plate 6P95642 and is white and gold. The truck has a NASCAR license plate trim ring and a small NASCAR sticker on the rear window.

The trailer is a two-axle 2007 Iner Carrier Road Runner with California license plate 4JT5217.It has a small Ford Racing sticker on the rear door. The Model A is yellow with black fenders and a brown top with California license plate 670RHG. Authorities are urging anyone with information on the theft to call 1-800-242-HEAT.Not News: Car stolen in Detroit.
