Fancy yourself a $375,000 Lexus supercar? Better hurry - according to TheDetroitBureau.com, only a small handful of LFA units are left.
“The supply is down to single digits,” Lexus’ U.S. vice president of sales, Tim Morrison, told the Bureau. Of the original 500 cars made, only about 200 came to the States, with most of the cars being sold in places like California and Florida.
Despite a rumor here and there, Lexus told TheDetroitBureau.com that “there are no plans for a replacement.” The LFA is perhaps the most un-Lexus Lexus that’s ever existed, and unless something else just as crazy comes along, it’ll certainly be a rare collector’s item in decades to come.
So to all you would-be-supercar owners: Get 'em while they’re hot.Lexus LFA almost completely sold out originally appeared on Autoblog on Fri, 22 Jun 2012 10:45:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds.
