Replying in Journals

I can’t reply in journals. When I do so, it says error, then says nothing as to what exactly the error is. Under the error sign comes a “okay” icon, which I click, and then it does nothing

???

Clearly other people are able to post comments

PCG the error message is there, but after posting your comment if you refresh the page, you will see that your comment is posted. There's some glitch or technical issue with the system.

Orpheus this is weird. I have been having the same problem from the past few days but, if I refresh my page the comment is there. Also there is a problem, when we edit our comment or post, it gets stuck. Even though when you refresh the page, the thing has been edited.

The error can be avoided by pressing the "Go Advanced" button and posting from within it.

C'mon TLK - it is just a cosmetic bug - although due to user interface the priority is some what high .. but it wont take more than 5 minutes for a developer to fix it .

just get it done and believe me - we wont ask for the unit test script to be submitted in support of bug fixing :)

Yeah, it's like a really nasty mole on a fat aunty's face. You should get rid of the mole and allow the fat butt to have some justice in the world.

I am not a technical guy so I will wait for Azkar to handle this. Till that, I am sure you guys are all genius people and will find a work around.

PCG and you and all are replying in Journals, so you guys already know the work around.

Non-technical approach is always duplicatable so you should be happy the 1st level of help comes from a non-tech guy.

You cant just assume that we know it :) easy it for users - make a proper workaround manual ... or a simulation will do the job ! :)

Problem will eventually be fixed, till then avoid using GS.
