Salaam to everybody especially to admin,5abi, and Sammara.

I used to complain a lot about what was going on religion forum but lately it’s getting better. Nothing in this world can be precise or perfect; hence, I do not expect the religion forum to be the best religion forum of the world. Religion is one subject people have fought over and over and will keep on doing it till the end. I will come straight to the point, I emailed Sammara (who is actually doing a wonderful job in religion forum ) about this comment of Madhannee

This person is apparently having some fun with the mockery of Allah s.w.t. (IMO the person is a non-Muslim, I could be wrong) If the person is smart enough to learn to say ‘Tabarak Watala’ Before our Allah s.w.t, then how come the person is do dumb to say something like ‘you can always put makeup to hide it when you see Allah Tabarak watala face to face’ If this is said in a funny way then I or many other don’t find it amusing, especially when it is coming out of a non-Muslim.

Sammara I pmed you about it thrice but no pm was returned. As per your request whenever I see something out of its position the first person I contact is you. Most of the time its done, but on this specific issue I pmed you 3 times. If I am wrong for any reason please return my pm. Any way I have nothing against you may be you never got it or whatever.

As for your request I will definitely ponder on it and will try my best to come up with something constructive and positive. But as for rite now if anyone can answer this question of mine.

** If this website is considered to be non-biased and nothing to do with Islam or any other religion, but a middle ground for every religion; then WHY in the month of ramadan we had those beautiful surrahs’ ? Why this website seems to deliver the impression that it has some kind of Islamic touch to it and somewhat Islamic authority ?

When ever a question is raised about the respect/disrespect of Islam you guys give this answer to everyone**

As per translation of Webster’s Dictionary
Word ** Sectarian ** means
***1-Of, relating to, or characteristic of a sect.
2-Adhering or confined to the dogmatic limits of a sect or denomination; partisan ***

By posting the surahs above and giving the impression that this website is very much so inclined towards Islam you are violating your own introduced term ** sectarian **
All I have to say MashAllah it was a wonder full thing to see those surahs and in general impression that arises because of things like that, i.e. this website is related very close to Islamic beliefs. If it is not then I don’t think we should take the side of just ISLAM do anything with it. If that remains the case; tomorrow a hindu is going to come and ask you guys that I am a member of this community and I want my Geeta verses up there as well. What will be your answer ?

My foremost suggestion indeed is
** MAJORITY OF THIS WEBSITE MEMBERS (ALMOST 98%), ARE MUSLIMS. CONSIDERING THIS FACT, PLEASE MAKE A FORUM ABOUT JUST ISLAMIC VALUES AND ONLY MUSLIMS SHOULD COME THERE AND POST AND THEN MAKE A GENERAL FORUM OF RELIGION.**

I assure you guys this will solve a lot of problems
**For example:

  1. Non-Muslims coming in Muslim threads and whoring up the whole purpose of that thread. ( If someone wants the opinion of a non-Muslim they will be able to go to general forum and discuss it there.)
  2. Moderators can be split one for each forum hence a major load of work will be lifted/split. Hence they will be able to do their job with much accuracy and efficicency.
  3. There will be less fights and disrespect of religions, as mostly Muslims will be allowed to post in that specific forum.**

Just like there is ** Pakistan Affairs ** because most of the guppies are here from Pakistan and then there is **world affairs ** for people who just want to discuss about the world. Just like that there should be a forum about ** Islamic Discussion or Islam ** and then religion alone it self. But even then that religion forum should strictly be patrolled and there shouldn’t be any disrespect to any religions.

I think it is a fair suggestion and should be implemented ASAP.

:) If I remember correctly, I did respond to you - check one of my last pm's to yourself in which I specifically mentioned your comment to Madhanee in this very thread you are discussing, But you wont understand it at all as we are talking about muslims here, and we believe in certain things that you dont. Remember me highlighting that particular comment because I specifically responded in my pm to you that I was not certain how your own comment pertained to this thread. Why should I edit someone else's comment when I am not editing yours?

Anyways you know what? This is going in circles. Maybe you need to discuss these issues with the Admin because obviously I am not the right person. The Admin will respond in this thread and you can take it from there.

To that i never got your reply. I never said anything about circumcision or anything. I replied to your PM stating clearly without quotations that that is the specific line i have objection with. Please read your PM box if you have time. And no we are NOT going in circles, You are doing a wonderful job as i have mentioned before. This one was just a misunderstading.

When you next sent complaints about FF’s comment, I did not respond because I believed the issue had been resolved; I am not going to indulge in double standards and edit party A’s comments if party B goes unedited. That is the reason why I pointed out to yourself {in my reply to your first of three pm’s} that your response to Madhanee was also - in my opinion - unrelated to the thread. I left your post unedited, why should I edit out Madhanee’s or FF’s ?

Ji, kafi misunderstanding ho gayi hai. Now I am sure we both have better ways to spend our time than indulging in this. Shall we please decide to move on to more productive activities ? :flower1: Take care of yourself, have a safe weekend,

I disagree for the following reasons: anytime you have a discussion forum in which you strictly "monitor" the statements from the participants, then that defeats the whole purpose of 'discussing'. You want Muslims only? How do you expect us to restrict participation to Muslims only - what if someone registers with the nick of Abdullah Hussain and starts to participate in that Forum and he is not Muslim ? How do we know who's Muslim to begin with ?

The whole idea of restricting a place so that people of one religion can solely participate, to me, is extremely counter productive. I am confident enough in my religion that I have a desire to learn more about other beliefs. My interaction with people from other faiths has validated in my heart my own imaan. I do not wish to live in a bubble closed off from the diversity of other beliefs because that only ends up harming me. That's not the Islam I know. Reflect on all the great Muslim philosophers, physicians, poets, authors, travellers we have had hundreds of years ago - if travellers like Ibn Battuta had closed their eyes and wished to live in an artificial cocoon where they only exposed themselves to the beliefs that their hearts agreed with, would Ibn Battuta have gone on his now-famous world expeditions ? What's the purpose of living if you only want to hear and read what one agrees with. You are limiting yourself in knowledge if you do that, I think.

From my point of view, my participation in this discussion is over because I feel I there is nothing new I have left to say that you have not already read.

I managed to find this old thread of mine. Disregard the post of Matsui because on regular basis he insults Allah s.w.t and his prophets but since he has a lot to offer Gupshup,(Aside the total disrespect of Islam and Prophet Mohammad :saw: and Allah :saw:. the admin just cant manage to ban him completely. Either he pays the adminstration of gupshup handsomely or the admin got some specific relations with** Mr. Mat and Madhanee**.

I will come to the point, The same thing is demanded **again and again in this thread 1 and in this recent thread 2 **. But the adminstration of Gupshup do not want to implement it.

I bet if voting is done in the religion forum about this issue, majority of the people will vote to have a separate forum for Islam where ONLY Islamic preachings are practiced.

If someone has a question about Islam and prophet, etc., it could be asked in either Islamic or non-Islamic forum depending on the question.

BUT STRICTLY NO INSULT OF ISLAM OR OUR PROPHET OR ALLAH S.W.T
