I wanted to find out if anyone’s ever used ReplayTV (http://www.digitalnetworksna.com/shop/_templates/cat_listRTV.asp?cat=52).
Its sorta like TiVO and you can record live TV. Plus it has an ethernet port with which you can hook it up to the network. There’s software available for the computer so you can make RTV think that ur computer is another RTV on the network, hence you can play all the movies, audio etc on your PC and watch it on your TV, where it might be located. It can be hooked up between your cable/satellite box and your TV so you don’t loose any existing functionality.
I’ve been thinking about getting it but wanted to get some opinions first.

You could use a PC, but getting a PC to do the above would cost you more than this device costs. And once RTV is networked I will be using the over 400 gb hard drive space that I have on my PC.
