What is it and why is mine so high? What purpose does it serve?

Its high considering I have been posting for a week or two. This was my default when I logged back in after a year or two of not posting.

I figured out what rep points are. They are basically "buy yourself out of getting banned" points.

I just got warned for calling a dumbass a dumbass. In turn I was warned. But I was also informed that I could use my rep points to delete the warning I got. So you can effectively continue to break the rules and just buy back your freedom.

Since I doubt there is a limit on how many times a person can give you positive rep, it is effectively a get out of jail free card.

I am very happy my rep is so high now.

Gizzy I suggest we use me to test that theory. What is the most effective way to earn warning points? :p
