Renting Bridal Dresses

Hey Fellows,

I was just wonderingt if any one of you:

  • Would like to put their bridal dresses to rent, after having it wore couple of time now, and dont wana repeat it again in next upcoming weddings? Or you think its a personal possession and would not like to share?

  • Would you like considering to rent a designer jora like Bunto or HSY for your big day, rather investing on for few hours wear?

Whats your say?

As i have my very heavily worked engagement dress, that I have worn several times in near ones wedding now and dont want to repeat more:s And i have been asked by my many friends to tell them where i got it made from etc and they want to have it make exactly etc. But I am not sure how much this rentling concept works for designer labels or elsewhile?

I would just sell the dresses, rather then renting them out. The renting concept wouldn't work well because people could abuse your dress and not take care of it, then there is hygiene as well. Plus it's awkward to rent out things like "clothes" especially in our desi community where things like these are unheard of.
