Ok, I posted this message last year. I did go to Karachi for about a month in December last year and was able to rent a brand new civic with a driver. It was a local car company that my Dad used back home from a local newspaper. I was very happy with the service. They charged 1100 PKR/per day. I paid for the gas as well as his meals while he was with me. There were quite a few wedding parties when he was on duty until very late at night, sometimes all night.
