Dear Members,
As you all must already be aware, with the recent changes in the format of all forums few weeks ago, the Military & Strategic Issues forum has also gone through a major change. Previously it stood as a sub-forum under Pakistan Affairs and now stands as a ***separate ***forum under the Society section which also holds other relevant and current affairs forums such as Pakistan Affairs and World Affairs.
The main reason for this change was to enable the highly interesting and multidimensional category and subject of Military & Strategic Issues to be explored and participated in to its full potential. This was possible by universalizing the section and removing the impression that it was dedicated or relevant only to a particular region.
While previously also being the only section for Military Affairs, though under Pakistan Affairs, it did serve as a reluctant global military affairs section too, now as it stands independently, it’s dedicated to cater and serve discussions and topics in any way related to global and regional Military & Strategic Issues, as also mentioned in the new forum description, which now reads;
Threads, topics, discussions, news, events, videos and pictures related to military, warfare, defence & strategic as well as military historic issues and anything in any way associated with military lifestyle are encouraged here, some of which previously remained divided mainly between World Affairs, Pakistan Affairs and Military & Strategic Issues, but can now find a home at the renewed Military & Strategic Affairs forum.
We look forward to continuing strengthening this section and further building it as an interesting and worthwhile corner for those interested in the exciting genre. So military buffs and non buffs are requested alike to jump (read paratroop) right in and contribute your valuable input, ideas and opinions.
