Paint thinner is usually a great choice for the removal of any kind of stains on clothes. It cleans just about anything and evaporates quickly, so it doesnt leave any mark. Plus the smell is awesome.

yaar, my favourite white cotton shirt has some stain on it. Its yellow so i,m assuming it could be a curry stain, Although i dont recall eating any curries wearing my beloved shirt! :grumpy:

and i,ve tried everything there was in the house, all those stupid stain removers, which u spray, leave for 2 minutes, and then rub with ur hands… and then wash it…

any proper hardcore desi totka??

COFFEE........Lift fresh coffee, and fruit stains from most fabrics by stretching the stained area over bowl and pouring boiling water over the stain from a height of 60 to 90 cm. Coffee stains with cream should be treated with a pre-spotter.

COLLAR STAINS.....Brushing around the collar by brushing liquid shampoo onto the spot. An old tooth brush is ideal for the job. Then wash as normal.

FINGER PRINTS......Gently erase finger prints from good quality white paper by kneading a slice of soft white bread with it becomes doughy. Use the bread as a soft eraser.

BRASS........Soak overnight in cold water to which a little vinegar has been added or work a little washing-up liquid directly onto the stain before laundry.

GREASE ON SUEDE LEATHER.......Dust with finely ground oat meal, rubbing gently with a clean, dry cloth repaet as needed, brushing when finished.

did you try vinegar? I guess it works.. actually I got this curry stain on my cotton shirt y’day and couldn’t find anything so I just sprayed some nail polish remover, rubbed it, and washed the shirt.. stain was gone right away.. I believe you should remove curry stains as soon as possible, but now you can try some vinegar, it will work.

REMOVE MARK OF AN OLD HEM........by sponging with a warm vineger and water solution rinsing with clear water before ironing.

INK STAINS.........Remove from most fabrics with an office glue thinner..or soak in milk as soon as possible after accident occurs.

IODINE.....Rub with a cut lemon before washing in warm water.

LIPSTICK.....Remove from most washable fabrics with pre-spotter or cleaning fluid then bleach with a commercial product suitable for the fabric.

MAKE UP.....If you cannot wash away, try an eraser made from a well-kneaded slice of very fresh white bread.
