Removing product build up from scalp

I need a shampoo that can get rid of product build up from my scalp and roots. Any suggestions?

Re: Removing product build up from scalp

Try using permea plus anti-sal shampoo and anti sal conditioner. This product is specially prepared for desalinated water related hair loss. it helps to remove the mineral deposition gently. I am using this permea + Shampoo for last 1 month(once in a week) and the result is good so far unfortunately conditoner was out of stock so couldnt buy that & using avocado conditioner from boots

hope it helps

I know this post doesn't help, but I used a clarifying shampoo that came in a blue bottle =/

Re: Removing product build up from scalp

any clarifying shmapoo from tresseme, pantene etc.

herbal essences "drama clean"...its a long thin green bottle thats specifically for prodcut buildup

Re: Removing product build up from scalp

Clarifying shampoo removes residue/build-up. The Suave clarifying shampoo works well for.....Neutrogena also has one that is nice. You can even mix a few drops of tea tree oil into your shampoo as that helps to keep the scalp clean.

Avalon clarifying shampoo...

I use 4 cups of water mixed with 1/2 cup of Apple Cider vinegar. You can either use a pitcher, or a spray bottle. With the spray bottle, spray the rinse onto the hair and once you're done wait 5-10 minutes before rinsing it out with cold water. Same thing with a pitcher, slowly pour the mixture into your hair, by pouring onto the forehead with your head bent backwards. Wait for 5 - 10 minutes and then rinse it out.
Your scalp will shed for a few days till the build up or dandruff etc falls out. I do this twice a month.
