Remove the repugnant laws

I think the following laws / institutions should be repealed by the government as soon as possible:

(i) Hudood ordinance
(ii) Shahadat ordinance
(iii) Zina ordinance
(iv) Federal Shariat Court
(v) Council of Islamic Ideology
(vi) provision of constitution declaring Pakistan to be an “Islamic republic”. It should be plain “Republic of Pakistan”.

Yeap. These laws have not worked for us. In fact these laws have encouraged abuses against the weak, the minorities, and women. It is time to repeal the laws.
