If you are using religion as justification, then Your Quranic claim to that land is superceded by the Christian claim which is superceded by the Jewish claim. So basically you are at the end of the line.

To educate you a little about Islam. The world was created by the Almighty Allah, and all his messengers from Hazrat Adam (PBUH) to his final Prophet Mohammed :saw: were Muslims. If you Christians want to play a subserviant role to Jews then so be it, but Islam from day 0 to the end of the world for us, brother. You need to stop reading those Islam-hate sites, and get some real knowledge about our religion. Peace.

Property rules all over the world support ownership after certain length of tenancy.
We can see much closer to home that Musharraf can not claim ownership for his ancestral home in Delhi. The same thing is true for the Bharatis who left their big mansions in Karachi and Lahore. Or Christians can not reclaim the place next to Ayasofia where blue mosque is now situated.
Instead of shouting empty bharaks (slogans), we should applaud the efforts by the current owners who are ready to give up their claim for the sake of peace in the region.

Where were likes of you in 1948 when over 800,000 palestanians were displaced from their homes to make room for these jews? Dont you dare take cover behind I was not born then crap…because that is the crux of the problem. Illegal occupation of a land that does not belong to you will get you death. Palestanians have the right to that land…lets see in Texas you are allowed to kill a tresspasser…why cannot palestanians do that,jews certainly did more than tresspassing.

Still spreading hate. In your example all of those were not forced evictions. Forced evictions are not governed by the same rules. Plus the UN with the blessing of the US has already said these settlements are illegal. So what are you bitching about? The US, your master says they are illegal who are you to say otherwise.

Let's face it, this is a bold move.
All over the world there are views of Israel evicting it's own people. Israel controls it's extremists. Not as part of a settlement, but unilateraly. What have the Palestinians done unilaterally in the interest of peace?
Americans have known all along that the gambit has been land for peace. First the Sinai, then Gaza. The ball is in the Palestinian court. Any bets on how badly they will screw it up? Gaza will be a mess, poorly administered, violent, crime ridden and a seat of further terrorism. Meanwhile the fence will continue to be built on the West Bank, and Isreals position will be more secure there each day. It will take no time at all for Hamas and Islamic Jihad to control the area, making the Palestinians appear as if they a simply rabble.
Providing Sharon with the worlds biggest "I told you so".

You’re spot on OG. Meanwhile, a bunch of Guppies would rather rant and rave at each other about who hates who the most rather than discuss this truly significant event.
Sharon has made a calculated gamble based upon predictable Palestinian behavior to follow. I think you’d have to be a moron to think that Sharon is evacuating the Gaza settlements because he thinks it will lead to peace on the ground and the subsequent evacuation of the West Bank. Exactly the opposite is expected. The West Bank is the prize not Gaza. When the Palestinians turn Gaza into total chaos and try to launch terror strikes from Gaza into Israel in increasing numbers, Sharon wins big time. He will be able to increase settlement building in the West Bank, encroach upon more and more land to act as a “buffer area” and the whole non-Muslim world will shrug their shoulders and say he has no choice.
We talked long ago in some real good threads about how the Palestinians keep losing the political, propoganda and media wars to Israel. The only way the Palestinians can win in this circumstance is to do something constructive and positive in Gaza, establish an effective security infrastructure and keep the fanatics/terrorists out. In VegasSpeak, you’d have to post some pretty long odds before people would bet their hard earned money on that outcome.
Once again, Israel has strategically outplayed the Palestinians and put them in a position where they are extremely likely to become the villains.

Truth is that palestinians will fk this up like they have fked up every thing they have done to date. I really think, palis have a better chance of having their own state in Jordan than trying to get jerusalam or west bank. They should rise up and take what is woed to them and taken so cold heartedly by the jordanians. fight it out…send suicide bombers to amman..show’em whatchya got..

who messed up, depends on who you ask. land grabbing is not exactly considered very neighbourly is it. nor is it deemed a successful solution to the problem either. but if u want to play the blame game, i'd look towards the bigger munster aka israel, who have more power to do deal with the situation, yet they aggravate it instead, in every way possible.

While land grabbing may not be very neighborly, neither is using your land as a staging ground to launch terrorist attacks against your neighbors. If you don't want to be occupied, don't friggin attack your neighbors or throw your hands up and say it is impossible to stop the attacks. The ball is in the Palestinian's court now. Let's see if they are responsible enough to keep from being occupied again. It is their choice, not some big bad Jewish monster's choice.
