I get everything waxed professionally, its so much easier, but if your looking for a cheaper method i would not use CREAMS! Please dont harm your body with creams, they do more harm then good. Shaving i would NEVER do because its a quick soultion but long time hassle, plus skin can get irritated. You can try waxing yourself but rememeber try to keep things as clean as possible. You have to understand there is hair in the pubic region for a reason, Infections are more likely to happen. Thats why i everything done professionally, i have amazingly smooth skin everywhere, it last me about a month and a half becuase i've been doing it for soo long, on top of that, the hair that grows back is much thinner! Let me know if you have any more questions!:)
Question: two weeks after i wax my legs, when the hair is growing back it really irritates my skin. the skin feels soo hard and prickley the hairs are to small to wax agian and especially when im in the bath the water stings the hairs. is this normal and does anyone else face the same problem if so what do i do about it?
hey colourfulEyes u should scrub ur skin regurlarly... i knew a lot of people hav this problem. i scrub always my skin with a scrub-glove (dunno how u call it in english...) when i wax my hair they came about 6 weeks (thats because of genetic structure i have it from my mom...) there a lot of shower gel with scrub effects.. i think u call the exfoliate or something like this. try it out!!
^^ this is funny coz i just come out the bath and i used a body scrub:) then i read ur post. i use it the one that exfoliates the skin from boots. it's good everywhere else.but it really hurts! on the waxed area.
naaaaah ur right - most of the machines u see lyk in argos catalogs & stuff wont work, these so called electrolysis ones... but av finally come across one and it definatley seems to b working, am glad to say, cos a few months ago i had really really thick hair on my chin, & now since i've been using this machine i've got - it seems to be lessening every day....... thats what made me think ''wot if i can have it permanently removerd in those two areas???''
It seems to work if you can do it right. You do need to get the needle into the follicle (she said it’s spring loaded to avoid trying to push it into the skin) and as it is just a very low current galvanic you do need about a minute per hair. Having said that, it appears that some people have experienced skin damage by starting off on higher settings, so you need to be careful. It’s probably best if you just have a few hairs that need treating.
Alisha has actually progressed to professional electrolysis (blend method), something like the one touch really is just temporary or if you only have a few hairs, otherwise you’d spend all your waking hours using it.
