I was going to add this to my reply about awrah, but forgot! Anyhow, what i was going to say was personally of course i would let a Dr examine me when necessary, bcos its not something i can do for myself, no knowledge. however, with hair removal, i can do it myself, i don't need to have someone else do it for me.
Think of the generations of women b4 us, surely most of them removed their unwanted hair themselves, without assistance, and nothing happened to them.
Do you know how hair was traditionally removed in many societies?
By scrapping the skin with shells.
Or using acid to burn it off.
This history of hair removal throughout the world is very disgusting, and very violent against oneself.
If every woman could properly remove her own hair, estheticians wouldn't have to be examined, tested, and LICENSED to do it. Just because some women used to give birth by themselves or in groups of other women doesn't mean it's ok to reject going to a hospital when you're in labour. We are perfecting these methods, and people study how to perform them.
Again. A professional should wax you, especially in such sensitive areas. I really can't stress that enough.
