AI-QUDS, Oct 1–A senior Hamas member in Palestinian Parliament said here on Tuesday that International Quds Day is an indication that the issue of Al-Quds is not only the Palestinians but is the cause of all Muslims.
In an exclusive interview with Alalam TV, Moshir Almesri said there must be a common concern among the Muslim nations regarding the liberation of Al-Quds because the Palestinians would not be able to liberate the occupied lands solely.
“Al-Quds must not be cleared from the minds of all Muslim generations,” Almesri said, adding that all Muslims should try to achieve the aspirations of Palestinian nation by resisting against the US-led pressures to imply Zionists’ plots in the region aimed at deleting the Palestine state from the regional map.
“What is required to be revived in memory of the Arabs and Islamic nations at this sensitive stage of time is restoring cohesion and unity of the Palestinian to confront the US-led pressure on the Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmud Abbas,” Almesri said.
“The unity of the Palestinians is the sole guarantee for the restoration of Al-Quds and resilience to cope with the continuous Zionists’ aggression on the Palestinian people.”
