Today India is celebrating victory over Pakistan in 1971, 16th December.
I do not know what lesson Pakistan has learned from that war, but India in fact lost that victory in next thirty years. Today at least 50 million Bangladesh citizens have penetrated into India illegally.
And Bangladesh is becoming another epicenter of Islamic militancy.
Re: Remembering 16th December 1971
Given the problems that Bangladesh has experienced since then, I say:
phew We were fortunate to be unburdened!!!

No, I won't close the thread. 34 years ago the last full scale war that pakistan was in ended. It is disrespectful to the memories of those who laid down their lives for our country if we simply pretend the war did not happen.

Very st00pid comment, maddy. Didnt expect this from you.
Yes, with this popular mindset, Khilafah is surely a wet dream for the few of us.
Here is another one very much like the one you made.
Education Secretary William Bennett on Thursday for saying that aborting “every black baby in this country” would reduce the crime rate.

On another note, i just googled bengladesh’s population, and it is 140 million?
One-third has migrated to India? Anjjan, are you on crack?

What a dumb and stupid comment on breakup of Pakistan. This shows the standard of moderator in this forum.

Faird,
It's an improvement over what was said about Bengalis during that time.
