Its a very good question actually. And honestly I find it very hard to answer. Not sure why.

May be its because Ive realized this after losing so many loved ones, that other than immediate family, noone remembers you. Its super strange how quickly people forget and move on. Or may be they dont but they just dont talk about it.

So then may be the other choice is to go above and beyond, do something big for the society. May be some innovation, social work, a milestone professional etc. Nothing for ordinary people.

I want to be remembered as a good, helpful person so that whenever I cross someone’s mind , they make dua for me.

I believe there is a difference between being recognized and being remembered.
Recognition would require a bit of fame, even if your line of service includes charity work. Being remembered is at a more casual level where even a small act of kindness on your part, will one day be remembered by someone. Sure, that person might not reach out to you to let you know they’ve thought of you, leaving you to feel forgotten. However, the human memory has it that we do not forget both cruelty and kindness. It’s understandable that we all are incapable of making huge differences like the ones you stated, but it is important for us to realize it all begins with one person at a time. With time and the right attitude, your group of benefitees will only widen.

Not true, it’s human nature to want to be remembered.

I think I’d like to be remembered as someone who has always been at the giving end, not the receiving. As someone who has always kept strong regardless of what was thrown at me.

I’d like to be remembered for all the positive impact i have had on anyone’s life. Cos Frankly, like @SID_NY no one other than your immediate family will remember, everyone moves on eventually.
