Remember last year's 'lose-weight diet plan' for Ramzaan?

lol I think it was Fayz’ bright idea. Wonder how guppies will handle ramzaan this year. It was funny how people would say “damn, I had 8 samosas today :(” and promise to be good the next day. I think we should all be easy on ourselves this year - have a decent sehri and healthy iftaari, without depriving ourselves too much.

I was thinking the same thing today Catty. :D So many of us are getting into regularly workout routines. What is going to happen during Ramadan?

Yeah, me too, but luckily as girls we get a week off during ramzaan, so having a short break from regular excercise shouldn't be too bad. :) And we should focus on improving our imaan and reading the Quraan rather than worrying about our figures and diets (since we have it under semi-control now ;)).

Catty, it's not about worrying about my figure for me, but more about a routine. I just like going to the gym on my lunch hours. It's become quite fun and I look forward to it everyday. I'm gonna miss not going for a month. :(

I think if people are htat concerned about routine/figures etc, they should slightly adjust their lifestyle for the time being. For three weeks, you can just do light exercises, like weightlifting or something, during your lunch hour or work out after iftaari.

Quite honestly, I think ramadan is going to do a number on our waistlines and diets, but hey no big deal, there’s mor eimportant things to worry bout :slight_smile:

i always end up gaining weight .. with all that fried food n pakoras does not help either.

And yeah i remember that time :) Actually you dont have to eat samosa's
at sehri time coz it is fatty lolzz. But it is so yummie naal chay da cup hm..... LOLZZ

Dieting is a waste of time honestly. I just walk 4 miles a day (2 to the UN and 2 back) a total of 1 hour in the day and i lose weight like crazy. I eat chocolate cakes, donuts what not. Drink coke regularly and i still lose weight. But then again i am lazy and take the taxi or bus and i gain it back.

Just burn more calories than you take in and you will lose weight. Plus dieting is not a good idea as you waste away your muscles (the actual ligaments and the like, not your bloody biceps).
