I haven’t had contact with Mohsin directly, just spoke to him on a phone once or twice. I’ve been in touch with his agent who I approached for the script initially, and who then connected me to mira’s office.
Mira seems to be a fan of Mohsin and was the first buyer of rights of his novel. I don’t know anything else besides that. And yes, they plan to take out the the female character who commits suicide from the movie. They wanted to keep her alive for love interest purposes…which is complete BULL****. it serves NO purpose and I was so angry when i found out. ughh.
