commercialization and spirituality are different things. IMO such commercialization lead the poor visitors in complexes. If you can provide equal facilities to all thats good, but if poor people have to pass through this trauma during their visits to holy places, it kills the purpose.

According to a holy saying of the Prophet s.a.w, the fitnah of this ummah is wealth and money. Saudis and the rest of Muslims are after money too, nothing surprising.
