In one of the HBO documentaries, Hamas suicide bombers (one of them later died carrying out the attack) were claiming that they are fighting for a secular, independent Palestine.
Is Islam really the driving force behind these attacks? I doubt!

Yes you'r right, they are not doing it in the name of Islam.
Thats why people like Shk. Abdullah Azzam left the Palestinian struggle and migrated to Afghanistan, because like he said, they would wage Jihad during the day and would spend the nights playing cards and listening to music. One day he rhetorically asked one of the 'Mujahideen' what the religion behind the Palestinian revolution was, to which the man replied, quite clearly and bluntly, "This revolution has no religion behind it."

It was the same case for the 9/11 attackers as well. According to many reports, 4 of them were siting in a strip club drinking alcohol the night before they smashed the planes into the buildings.
So to speak, martyrdom was not a motivation for them. Then what???

The reason people associate terrorism with Islam is not because the terrorists just happen to be Muslim (going by that logic we could put down Christianity because of Hitler kaka) but rather because terrorists use Islam as a tool by misquoting from Qur'an out of context the verses meant for during warfare and use them to condone the killing of old grannies and new born babies.
Their secular ideologies just reinforce my theory that there is 'somebody elses' hand behind these groups, slogans of "God is the Greatest!" are just a bait, indeed He is Great but He's also Omni-Merciful and wont be letting you off scotch free for killing a bus load of Jewsih babies, forget the Doe-Eyed Heavenly Nymphs you twat you're going striaght to the Dungeons..
Religion makes a good political tool and Muslims are not the first manipulate it.
Untill they fully and sicerely submit into Islam and abide by it's rules of justice they will carry on being humiliated.
