Religious people preaching anti-religion stuff

To call a bad Muslim ‘bad’ or calling a non-Muslim "Kafir"at his face or at his back is to make him firm in his sins. No one likes sarcastic or straight forward criticism (personal attacks) even if it is 100% true. This is the worst mistake some of the religious people (in present age) do, i.e. to point finger at sins of others and find flaws in their beliefs, while being lenient towards oneself and one’s own belief system.

The prophet (saw) never degraded a person by telling him his faults or ridiculing his belief system at his face or at his back. He only preached good manners and values through love and wisdom in a generalized manner. Even the worst enemies of Islam who didn’t accept Islam after losing battles and seeing miracles of the Prophet (saw), couldn’t control their heart from accepting Islam after seeing the manners, sincerity and kindness of the Prophet (saw).

If only people like me correct their manners and develop love in their heart for their opponents (along with sincere prayers), more people would be attracted towards their belief system.

I partially gree with you upto some limit but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

If display of good manners and love was a one size fits all solution, Allah taala would have never made JIHAD a faraz.

Now a certain small group of people who call themselves Muslims believe that JIHAD is no longer a faraz but that's just a very tiny fraction.

Dr. Zakir Naik (a human computer) answered this very question by a Hindu very well. (you can search youtube for this video).

By all means carry on Jihad and keep killing fellow "muslim" men women and children, and blow up mausoleums, mosques, imam barghas and schools.

For some, hell begins in this world...

Who said JIHAD means killing ?

Re: Religious people preaching anti-religion stuff

Yeah, well when someone sinned and did wrong, their act was certainly never CONDONED or even SUPPORTED by the Prophet.

Do not mix the two concepts. Its one thing to punish someone for something very private and very personal, like maybe they missed a prayer or something vs. allowing people to go commit acts of terror and go on suicide missions and support such things.

Peace bro RealityCheck

I'm not sure I understand this statement of yours. I always thought that Jihad is done to better oneself, so the display of good manners and love even to the enemy is Jihad .... or am I confused by something?

Re: Religious people preaching anti-religion stuff

i worked with many religious organisations in search of real islam but at the end it is just business which leads to terrorism

Re: Religious people preaching anti-religion stuff

^ really, how so?

Re: Religious people preaching anti-religion stuff

The Prophet (Saw) never used to mention anyone's name and used to only speak in general whenever he used to correct people's mistakes, even if anyone asked him if he (saw) intended to point at his mistakes/sins, the Prophet (saw) still never said anything that could have hurt the feelings of the sinner or made him feel embarrassed in front of others .

Re: Religious people preaching anti-religion stuff

Well this is the problem we are facing these days with Ummah, to not follow the Uswae Hussna PBUH and teaching/guidence of Quran, whatever a Moulvi Sahib told them is a pure Islamic teaching for them. If we follow the Uswae Hussna mubaraka Mohammad PBUM (Jis ke liye dono jahan banaye gae) and take guidence from Quran this is lead us to sarate mustaqeem, Allah ham sab ko sochne or samjhne ki or deen e Islam ko ehsen rang main samjhene ki taqat/salaihet ata farmey Ameen.

Re: Religious people preaching anti-religion stuff

Please care to explain this term I am totally unfamiliar with it?

Nope in my case you could not be more off the truth, Molvis like most people are materialistic and will as most people follow the money... cant blame them really but you dont bargain on matters of faith (my opinion anyway)

I simply follow what those followed before me did, anything that is different but benificial to the old teachings is okay anything which goes against it is a no no.... simple.

I am happy to listen to different views but when those different ideas threaten what has existed since long before my ancestors took up the path of rightousness then naturally I will do all I can to remove threats to my faith.

You seem to make out that Ummah is something new, Ummah has always existed long before the formation of modern political states, it will continue to thrive long after the maps and boundaries have been scribbled away....
