And who are you to judge that someone is a good Muslim or not?
Last time I checked I thought it was only upto Allah SWT who’s a gud Muslim and who’s not a good Muslim.
The majority of Muslim guys i know will respect a girl who does wear it but NOT think less of a girl who doesn’t.

Clothes can pretty much tell how a woman is...i.e. tight jeans, tank tops, skirts, skin showing. A religious woman would never wear those. All those that say that you shud know the person before you judge them, first all every1 has first impressions, and second of all how r we suppose to get to know them, we cant just start a relationship with a woman even if it is just friendship because that may lead to deeper things.
n dont tell me u never looked at a fellow classmate and thought she is such a slut by the clothes she was wearing even if she was or wasnt a muslim.

Afridi, I must say, this is one idiotic statement even if it is said as a sarcastic ‘joke’. Islam promotes the role of women in society. Islam gives us respect. Unfortunately, in real life, the respect is non-existent. Now that isn’t Islam’s fault, rather the male dominated societies these women may belong to. In any case, the only thing I find barbaric here is your statement.
You don’t know the women of GS. Unless you have actually met them and personally know someone, it would be wise to perhaps lay off insulting the female posters here.
Some people get away with so much because of their tender ages. Tsk.

Just as you were wrong in the past about stereotyping 'religious girls', I'd like to say you're likely just as wrong about 'mod girls'. You're making sweeping statements about 'mod girls' just like you did about 'religious girls' in the past.
It is very likely that your view about the two types of girls is just as inaccurate as it was in the past.

some of the “hijaabis” are the most lewd ones! I remember at school, some girls would wear a scraf over their head on leaving home…as soon as the school gate was reached it’d be ripped off! And then at Uni…Uff Allah! Hijaabis wearing skin tight tops…all lumps and bumps fully on show! Hijaab only means something if a sister wears it not only for the sake of pleasing her family/community…but for the purpose to protect her inner dignity and respect. Otherwise its no use really.
