One big difference between the Muslims extremeists and the others is that Islam seems to lend itself very easily to extremist views...
Its difficult to group Muslim extremists with Jews and Chrisitians simply because extremists from other religions are simply brushed aside as crazy or misguided, while Muslims are simply viewed as a product of their religion. And its made worse by the fact that extremist Muslims constantly cite the same violent refrences to justify their actions that opponenets of Islam use to vilify them.
So I dont know if one could group all extremists into one convenient category.
