I never said Islam preaches hateness. But its message is very different than that of the Biblical Jesus. The last thing anyone could say about Jesus was that he was a warrior or advocated violence in any way. You are wrong about I know and where I learned of Islam. I have read the Quran, hadith, intrepretative studies, fatwas and I have been posting on gupshup for 5 years. If you guys don't know enough about Islam that I may have learned something it's your fault, not mine.

My post wasn't meant as a dig on Islam. As I said, Christians haven't completely followed the peaceful teachings of Jesus from the get-go. But the violence committed by Christians in the name of Christianity is mostly inspired by the Old Testament, which is filled with the very same brimstone and fire as the Quran.
so some one attacks u and u will be the harping on the smae string "no violence no violence"..prove me from where islam promotes violence or blah blah or back down...again..y dont u tell me who formed christianity"...some peter or john or some unknown bible writer??...christianity was not formed by jesus(pbuh)..our prophet life is a complete example for us..wars r part of life..those who dont know how to fight will perish and thts y we muslims r suffering from u americans...
dont play words game...and u say u learn alot abt Quran and hadith...if u think this forum is the place to learn Islam then i m sorry dear..u r committing a big mistake...internet is full with bogus islamic sites and blah blah...buy Quran and read urself and keep in touch with any islamic scholar...
and by the way there r so many version of bible tht one may never find truth in it...u have jimmy swaggert edition,books of luke,job,gospel and list goes on and on..watch debates on google and youtube and u will find the path..
if u want to talk abt actual bible message which infact have been fabricated to the level tht there r many childish mathematical mistakes in bible,then we muslims r more christians then u people...as bible says not to ear pork,drink alcohol,have sex outside marriage,interest is not allowed,covering heads for ladies is compulsory...even there r undeniable proofs tht mohammad(pbuh) would be the last prophet...might be i m going against the topic but sorry brother,i had to mentioned those things...
we muslims r bound to respect jesus(pbuh),bible and his mother respectable marium...we dont hate christians...we hate policies of ur people and the way christian missionaires use poverty to convert people....
